Veterans Day is a day where we honor those who made sacrifices to our nation through their service in the armed forces, especially those who made the ultimate sacrifice in order that we may live with safety and security. It is a special time of the year where we remember veterans no longer with us and cherish those who still are. Though we ultimately long for peace, we recognize that there are times when peace no longer becomes possible or conducive to true justice. We therefore venerate those who carry out their duties honorably in defense of our people and values. Whether you served or are serving in the Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Navy, or Space Force, we take this moment to show our appreciation for you and to contemplate on how we might give back to those who gave all.
